With love and passion for food, Bart and Jessica transformed Joe’s in a decade to a casual fine-dining restaurant. With the same passion for food and wines, as we have, we added Justin in 2025 to our team.
Besides working with fresh products for our dishes, we selected the best wines, cocktails and beers for your dining experience. Choose from our a-la-carte menu or let us surprise you with a Chef ‘s menu: four, five or six courses.

Highly recommended to eat here!! Not the most beautiful location, but delicious dishes, the atmosphere is good, friendly and helpful staff, several small dishes on the house!
What a fantastic restaurant in every way. We had the four-course surprise dinner with matching wine arrangement. It was so excellent that we went back the other day for a completely different surprise menu. Never had such a good meal anywhere before. And the hospitality and service were also absolutely wonderful. If you are on Bonaire this is definitely a must go. Here you really get value for your money.
Perfect sized portions, amazing flavors, little extras through the meal we're a very nice touch. Nice breeze and great atmosphere.
Nice evening, the food is very good although we found some other gems on the island that we prefer over this one. Service was very attentive. Overall a solid 4 stars in our opinion.
Lovely, attentive atmosphere. We sat on the patio and it was only mildly marred by the man nearby who insisted on smoking a cigar. The lights, the sea breeze, the outdoor noises were otherwise very pleasant. Staff were attentive. Complimentary breadsticks and a dip were provided. Interesting flavors, although the combination didn't work to my palate--a savory crispy breadstick and a fruity, creamy dip. Bread was delicious with a nice tomato-butter. Portions of the main course seemed small given the price point--luncheon portion, with as much vegetable as protein--but given the 'extras,' I'm not complaining, just noting for the heavy eaters. Flavor and cook was excellent. Some confusion later with the credit card company over the tip and they did not give me a copy of the receipt so I was unable to verify the amount.
Highly recommended we discovered Joe's restaurant last night and it was a lovely evening. Excellent food and a team who worked together to make our dining experience the best we have had on the island.
My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Joe's Restaurant Bonaire on Christmas Day, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. We had a five course dinner with wine pairing, and every course was absolutely delicious.
The staff at Joe's were great, making sure that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. They were friendly and attentive, and really added to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.
In terms of the food itself, we particularly enjoyed the Veal Tartar and the scallop dishes. Both were incredibly tasty and expertly prepared. We also appreciated the wine pairing, which perfectly complemented each course.

Me and my husband went there to celebrate his birthday. I made a reservation one week earlier because it was a Christmas time and all other restaurants were fully booked for the entire week. This one still had a spot. Few days earlier we went for dinner to different restaurant and we were very disappointed so when we got to Joe's Restaurant we didn't have high expectations. From the beginning we were shocked how different service in Bonaire's restaurants can be. Everybody was so nice. The hostess welcomed us very nicely, then waiters were very polite. After we ordered our dinner we were served with small appetizer on the house with explanation what it was. I asked for a birthday candle on my husband cake and they put very nice small firework 😀 After we finished and asked for a check we were served with after dinner special liquor! All food was delicious and the service was great.
The only complain that I have is that there is no one waiter who cares for a table but every time somebody else comes. I understand that maybe it is a team for serving a table like busboy who serves water and clean table, runner who serves dinner, and waiter who takes order and cares in general but we didn't know who actually our waiter was which was a little bit annoying.
The other thing that could be handled better was the birthday cake. As I said the cake had beautiful candle but it was served without birthday song not even "Happy Birthday." It was only me and my husband so I had to sing the happy birthday song by myself...We are use to a nicer celebration when all serving staff come with a cake and sing happy birthday so it was a little disappointment.

OMG, get the goat cheese! I am not usually a fan, but it was amazing! The chicken satay is also amazing as well as the pork loin, but I truly believe you can't go wrong here. They also bring you small chef specials throughout your meal that are a nice touch that just adds to the overall awesome experience! This was my wife's favorite restaurant on the island and we visited multiple times in 11 days.
